The second package is being managed by NAC Consulting, and aims to establish a West End Sustainable Business Cluster.
This is a six month program providing:Â planning for in-business changes; on-site coaching; learning workshops – all based on a first-up business sustainability audit.Â
Up to twenty businesses will have access to this program which is majority funded by the Department of Environment and Resource Management and the Brisbane City Council.

Who will facilitate the Sustainability Packages?
Package One: Business Sustainability Assessment -Â Green Living Now
Jason Hilder is a sole trader who provides assessment for homes and businesses. He is an ABSA accredited assessor (Association of Building Sustainability Assessors) and a member of the Sustainability Practitioner’s Association of Australia.
Jason has been working in the area of environmental sustainability for many years, and has a B.App.Sc in Rural Management, and a Masters Degree in Natural Resources Studies.
Jason also has a family background in the building industry, so can offer practical advice on building and equipment changes.
Package Two: West End Sustainable Business Cluster - NAC Consulting
Howard Nielsen will be the lead facilitator in this program. He has helped over one hundred businesses, including West End businesses, in the past 25 years of consulting in the area of sustainability, business development and leadership.Â
He is a member of the International Association of Sustainability Professionals and is an accredited sustainability assessor with the Department of Environment and Resource Management, The Natural Step Australia and the University of Sydney Sustainability Analysis Group.
He holds graduate and Masters qualifications in Environmental Sustainability, Business Management and Education. Louise Meredith, who has experience in the energy industry and training, will work with Howard on this program.
